Arrests made for Kaikohe Library break-in
Police have made two arrests in relation to a break-in and theft of property at Kaikohe Library on Friday 15 November.
Two computer monitors taken during the break-in have been recovered.
The perpetrators caused damage costing $2200 to repair after smashing through the library’s glass front door to gain entry after hours. The expense of the repairs will ultimately be borne by ratepayers. The incident had temporarily disrupted essential library services for the community.
