We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

VIDEO - Rock legend shares wisdom with local rangatahi

Jon Toogood, front man for internationally-successful band, Shihad, shared tips and advice about a music industry career with aspiring young musicians and performers at Kerikeri’s Turner Centre last week. Rock star Toogood teamed up with the New Zealand Music Commission for their Gig Starters programme which gives musicians a leg up to creating income while pursuing their passion for music. Local rangatahi were also given technical insights about how to set up a stage and PA system for a live show. Toogood is currently on a national tour to promote his first solo record.
