VIDEO - 185 years celebrated at Māngungu

Hundreds of Far Northerners attended the 185-year anniversary celebrations of the Waitangi treaty signings at Māngungu Mission, near Hōreke, last week.
The mission house and grounds hosted iwi, hapū and residents from around the region, and visitors were able to see the table on which the treaty was signed by 64 rangatira - a bigger presence than at Waitangi just days earlier. Far North mayor, Kahika Moko Tepania outlines the significance of the event, and shares what honouring te Tiriti means to him.
