Far North 2100
Far North 2100 envisages how the Far North might look in 80 years’ time, based on our vision He Whenua Rangatira – a district of sustainable prosperity and wellbeing. It takes on board the things that will influence our future from a global, national and local perspective. It considers our place in New Zealand and the challenges we must overcome.
It is an aspirational strategy. This is just the beginning.
Far North 2100 was consulted on during the Navigating Our Course roadshow in March 2021. It was adopted at the November 2021 Council meeting.
