How to book an event
What you need to do
- Read the information on this website...
- Confirm the size/category of your event - go to 'What is your event'.
- Check what you need to do before you send in your application - go to 'Apply online for your event'.
- Check how long you have to do it, based on the size/category of your event - go to 'What is your event'.
- Are there special licences or consents you need to apply for, e.g. a special alcohol licence, a food licence, or a building consent? Go to 'What is your event'.
- Email us to let us know what you're planning.
There are terms and conditions to be aware of (on the 'Your obligations') and a refundable bond to pay for all events. Find the refundable bond form here.
To help we can...
- work with you to get your event approved once you send in your application form (link below)
- make sure no other event is planned at the same time
- ensure the venue is clean and tidy with recycling bins supplied if required
- advise if you need to apply for special consents or licences (such as an alcohol licence)
- advise if you need to apply for any road closures.
When you have followed all the steps outlined you can apply for an event. Go to 'Apply online for your event'.
