Kaikohe Library
The Kaikohe Library is located in the aptly named Library Square, right in the heart of the town. The library is a welcoming space for locals and visitors to this historic Far North town.
The library has a large New Zealand collection, and also holds the specialist Fen Barrett Collection. As well as free public internet and WiFi, low cost photocopying, printing and scanning services, the library offers a range of programmes including Storytime and Bookchat, JP services and Skinny Jump.
The library has a small bookable meeting room and hosts local artwork exhibitions. Customers can also take time out of their day and connect over our in-house board games, guitar, art markers, Lego and other toys for children.
A special feature of the Kaikohe Library are mosaics by the local artist Margaret Coupe.
