The purpose of the Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy is to give business owners the option to open and employees the option to work on Easter Sunday in the Far North. We would like your feedback on a proposed new Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy.

The Council proposes to incorporate a range of material by reference in the Proposed District Plan. Public comment on this proposal is invited until 13 May 2022.

The purpose of the Parks and Reserves Bylaw is ensure fair and appropriate use of parks and reserves in the Far North. We would like your feedback on a proposed new Parks and Reserves Bylaw.

The Far North is home to a range of unique landscapes, species and habitats, many of which are under threat. Council is required to identify and protect these habitats through a District Plan.

The Proposed District Plan will be notified on Wednesday 27 July, 2022. This opens a formal submission period that runs for 60 working days.
