We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

VIDEO - Celebrate Te Tiriti o Waitangi at signing event

The largest signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi didn’t happen where you might expect. The location was once a bustling place of trade, religion, shipyards and timber merchants in the Hokianga.

Come join us to celebrate the 185^th anniversary of te tiriti signing at a nationally significant place in the history of Aotearoa. So where is it?

Date and time - Wednesday 12 February from 9am (to 3pm).
