Back to work after holiday break

It’s back to business for the majority of council services after taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period.

Our libraries in Kaikohe, Kaitāia (Te Ahu), Paihia, Kerikeri (Procter Library) and Kaikohe reopened on Friday 3 January and Te Ahu Museum in Kaitāia opened its doors again on Monday 6 January.

The council's service centres Kaikohe, Kaitāia (Te Ahu), Kerikeri, Kāeo, Rāwene, and Kawakawa all returned to normal hours on Monday 6 January.

Applications for LIM reports that were received after Thursday 5 December 2024 will be issued after Friday 10 January 2025.

Building inspections resumed on Monday 6 January, while the processing of building and resource consent applications will restart on Monday 13 January.

The processing of alcohol licensing applications resumes on Thursday 16 January.
