Donald Road Bridge to close for one day

Donald Road Bridge in Kaitāia will be closed for one day on Wednesday 5 February as part of the ongoing upgrades to the region's wastewater infrastructure.

This is the first in a series of short closures as work continues on an upgrade to the wastewater network along Donald Road. This is part of a project to improve the town's sewerage system and support future growth.

A detour will be clearly marked with signs directing traffic from Matthews Avenue turning left into Allen Bell Drive taking motorists to Donald Road on the other side of the bridge

Traffic management will go up from 8am – 5pm. Travellers are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly.
