We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

VIDEO - Rangitahi step up to Waitangi traffic challenge

Traffic management crews are improving vehicle flows around the Waitangi event locations all this week with the influx of visitors and locals. For many rangitahi participating in the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs programme, this will be their first experience in the workforce.

Visitors are asked to be patient and go with the flow! Free parking and shuttle buses are operating from 3am to 6pm servicing the public car park locations at Haruru.
