Amendment to council's Parking Bylaw

This consultation is now closed. Submissions were open for four weeks from Wednesday 12 October 2022.

We are seeking public feedback on a proposed amendment to council's Parking Bylaw.

The purpose of the Parking Bylaw is to ensure fair and effective use of available parking across the district. We are proposing two amendments to council's existing Parking Bylaw.

Firstly, we are proposing an amendment to enact the delegations Waka Kotahi has given council to monitor parking on State Highways in the Far North.

The second proposed amendment is to increase and improve mobility parking across the district.
